40th Anniversary Brunch

Join us in-person or virtually for a morning of celebration at the Chicago Theological Seminary located at 1407 E. 60th Street, Chicago, IL. It’s our 40th anniversary, and we can’t wait to celebrate with our staff, volunteers, supporters, alumnae and everyone who has supported our mission to serve women and children in the Chicagoland area for the past four decades.

This event will honor our Co-Founder Sister Therese O’Sullivan and share the stories of women who have transformed their lives by learning how to break the cycle of poverty and addiction. The event will feature live music from Harmony Hope and Healing and much more.

Southside Center of Hope formerly St. Martin de Porres House of Hope was founded in 1983 in the Woodlawn Neighborhood. Its founders started this work with $15 and 19 beds. Today, the organization is a vibrant community with over 4,000 alumnae. The organization is dedicated to addressing three of the most pressing issues facing women in black and brown communities — homelessness, addiction, and poverty. And we’re just getting started!
